John E. Healy, President

CPS is headed and run by a former member of New York’s Finest. John Healy is a 22-year veteran of the N.Y.P.D., who reached the rank of Deputy Inspector and Commanding Officer of the Midtown Precinct North. During his tenure, he also commanded the Dignitary Protection Unit of the Intelligence Division.

Following his career in the NYPD, John served as Vice President, Operations for OCS Security, a highly-respected security guard company in Metropolitan New York. In that capacity, he provided armed security services to companies such as CBS and ABC, retail locations such as the GAP, Banana Republic, Old Navy and The Children’s Place and numerous landmark status Class A buildings throughout the five boroughs and New Jersey.

In becoming the President of CPS, Mr. Healy saw an opportunity to build a truly first class security firm, one that embodied the best security practices and techniques of the N.Y.P.D.

Today, more than anyone, Mr. Healy is the face of CPS, reflecting the company’s commitment to integrity, performance and client satisfaction.


Jerome DiMenna, District Manager, Connecticut.

As a senior ranking United States Marine Corps intelligence officer, Jerome DiMenna specialized in intelligence and counter-intelligence planning, counter-terrorism and hostage-rescue operations. He also served as a special agent with the United States Naval Intelligence, focusing on Dignitary Protection. In that capacity, he has directed security details for such high-ranking United States and foreign government officials as Navy Secretary, John F. Lehman, Israeli Prime Minister, Yitzahk Rabin, House Sparker, Newt Gingrich and Lt. Colonel Oliver L. North.

While a Federal Law Enforcement Officer, Mr. DiMenna conducted or directed major investigations into the John Walker espionage ring, the Space Shuttle Challenger disaster and the attempted sabotage of a Trident submarine.

At CPS, Mr. DiMenna specializes in Personal Protection and Counter-terrorism / Anti-terrorism matters pertaining to corporate safety and security.
