David Lee-Sam, Operations Manager

David joined CPS in 2008 at a time when there was a need for increased efficiency and performance by security guards throughout the industry. He plays an integral part as one of our Account Managers in maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service for our clients here at CPS today. David began his career over 34 years ago in the security world. In addition to his experience in security management he has 29 years of Law Enforcement experience. He served as a Supplemental Police officer in Trinidad & Tobago, rising to the rank of Assistant Superintendent. He also served as a Volunteer soldier in both the Trinidad & Tobago Volunteer Defense Force and in the New York State Guard. He was a part-time college lecturer in Security Management and Safety Management for over 13 years. David has held positions as Chief of Security with responsibilities for security, safety, fire protection and emergency care; General Manager of Commercial Protective Services; Safety & Security Supervisor of Express (New York). He is a graduate of the University of the West Indies majoring in Security Administration and Management. He has been certified in Homeland Security (CHS-III) by the American Board for Certification in Homeland Security and OSHA Certified in Occupational Safety & Health (Tennessee Technology Center). The majority of his career he has been involved in training Police Officers and Security Officers on their duties and responsibilities.
